About Action City

A church for the next step.

We're a community of people learning to follow Jesus in real life — at home, at work, in the city. Our weekend gatherings hold the line on Scripture, and our weekday discipleship walks each person from a first visit to a contributing member of the household.

Baptism, testimony, and serving are part of the story — not gates that keep you out, but milestones that mark where you've grown.

Visit

Show up on a Sunday. We'll save you a seat, walk you in, and answer any questions afterward.

Connect

Find a small group, share a meal, get introduced to the people who already call this home.

Grow

Step into discipleship — a cohort, weekly teaching, real Scripture, real assessment of where you are.

Step 04

Serve

Use what you have. Hospitality, media, kids, prayer, outreach — pick a team and join in.

A love that sends us out.

The Cities of Refuge weren't hideouts. They were places where a person in trouble could be received, restored, and one day sent home — different.

That's the pattern God writes through the whole of Scripture: refuge that becomes restoration that becomes commission. We're not built to settle inside the walls of safety. We're built to be sent back into the city we came from, carrying what we've found.

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

I came in dragging six months of doubt. The first small group I sat in didn’t fix it — but they kept showing up, week after week, until something shifted.

My pastor visited the week my dad passed. He didn’t bring answers — he brought a meal and stayed three hours. That’s when I understood what church was.

Being asked to serve on the welcome team was the first time anyone trusted me with anything in years. I needed that.
